Do you know anyone who has never done a full body medical check up?

Do you know anyone who is not afraid of terminal illnesses?

Do you know anyone who does not bother to take medication for his/her newly diagnosed illness?

Do you know anyone who couldnt be bothered about their health?

Well, let me tell you what i know and understand so far....

On an average scale :-

those in their late teens to 20s feel they are at the peak of their life, nothing would ever happen , they will not end up in a hospital seeking treatments, surgery is out of the question too because they are too young. They often see and hear about older people landing up in hospital. But NO,... definitely, NOT them.. yes?

One true story.. a girl age 25 was admitted to a specialist hospital after complaining of acute stomach/abdominal pain. Her family and herself of course, never thought she would end up in the surgery room on emergency basis. Initially, they thought she was suffering from food poisoning... Hey!, NO!! After enduring the pain.... Really pain pain, ok?.. for 2 - 3 days, and after being poke with needles for blood tests and etc... and after being checked by few different doctors,.. they finally know whats her problem. She had a cyst in her ovary. Now, you tell me.. A girl in her 20s , has anyone in her family ever suspected a cyst in her ovary or even her.... Does it ever occur to her? She didnt cry much,.. she is a very independent and strong will person , because she did not want to scare her mom, who is by the way, has been crying her eyes out.. She is scared , she is lost , she dont know whats happening, what went wrong.. her 25 year old girl is having this problem at this young age...

Now, come the 30s.... sure, they are aware of illnesses around.. sure they care of their health, sure they would go for treatments, sure they are not naive to think nothings ever going to happen,.... but they are to busy or lazy to take action.. its always in their minds to go for check up but they just couldnt find the time and are too stingy to spent for such check up.. They always tell themselves they should go, but they also tell themselves to wait another day another day another day........... some are too scared to know the results..

40s,.. they can feel age is catching up . Their staminas are down , they easily feels tired , joint pains , migranes, backache... etc.. This are the group who would go for medical, be it mild pain or acute pain...

50s and above ....... What's there to explain?? Of course, they are at the age of taking good care of their health..

Everyone should take the opportunity and make time to go (this goes to myself as well).. There are many health screen companies nowadays but before you decide on which company, you should try to do a market research on company background, the actual tests to be conducted, and please check out your agents too.. Some are so into sales, they tend to keep some facts from their customers. The pricing for this companies can range from RM1,000++ to RM10,000++ . You'll be surprise to know some companies offering a cheaper membership scheme actually conduct more tests. Also, these machines are like computers.. they are often upgrade, always a better version every now and then. We must check when was the last time the pioneers upgrade their machines or bought a new model. Most of the pioneers charged more than RM10,000++ for memberships..'
